Foresteria's World: the Forest for Schools
Within the Villa, students will be able to appreciate the contrast between the art of the father, Giambattista Tiepolo, inspired by epic and chivalric poems, and that of his son Giandomenico, whose work portrays scenes connected to the natural and everyday world (click here for the educational proposals of Villa Valmarana ai Nani).
For the first time in the history of Villa Valmarana, thanks to the PNRR Parks and Historic Gardens program, its Forest opens to schools, offering a variety of innovative experiences related to nature, biodiversity, the history of the Villa, 18th-century culture, and Giandomenico Tiepolo.
The new Forest thus creates a continuum with Giandomenico’s frescoes, enriching the visit with both natural and historical points of interest, combined with multimedia elements.
All school trails include a general tour of the Forest and the three multimedia and sensory installations: Pagoda, Nest, and Log, allowing for an immersive experience within the Forest.
